EFY 2009

This year I went to efy in Flagstaff, Arizona and I had a blast! It was so pretty in Arizona. The weather was wonderful as well! I went with my friend Michelle and we had a great time. Met lots of new people and made tons of friends and well lets face it, I met lots of cute guys! haha (of course) I can't wait to go next year!

Mount Rushmore

So funny story, when we got to Mount Rushmore it was so cloudy and foggy we could not see the president's heads at all! We were pretty bumbed that we drove all that way for nothing! Later that day we were doing some of the tours and then it rained really hard so we saw the heads through the widow of the building. By the time we got back outside the clouds had covered them back up. So we saw them for a minute or so and that made the trip worth while right? haha so we eventually left and were bumbed we didn't see the heads for very long but then later that day the weather had cleared back up and we had a pass to go back for free so we went back and were able to see the heads for a lot longer this time and got plenty of pictures. We were really glad we went back and gave the mountain a second chance. Dad was great at watching the weather and I am glad he decided to take us back. It was a lot of fun to see.

YCL-Retreat 2009

The pictures below are from my ycl-retreat we had as soon as school got out. Literally, the day school got out we left for Pinevally it was so much fun! I loved it up there! We got to go to a really old church that is still in use and then we played games and prepared stuff for girls camp and toured some historic homes and went to our homes. although I had to leave early because we headed to Mount Rushmore the day of the tours. I had a great time at the retreat. :-)
